In 2017, our founder, Seromume Ikogho, set out to buy a quality leather workbag in Nigeria. He wanted three simple things: modern style, authentic leather, and a fair price. When he could not find a single local option that met those standards, he decided to build it himself. Detail Africa was born from a simple belief: world-class leather goods do not need to be imported. They can be crafted right here in Africa.
